Extra Curricular

Everybody dreams, but at Gadsden City Schools – we dream bigger. From a blue-ribbon elementary school to a long history of national merit scholar finalists, we reach higher in academics.

Here at ESMS, we pride ourselves on our academics as well as our extra curricular activities to produce a well-rounded student that prepared for the next steps in education. Here is a list of the activities we offer:

First Priority

Attend “JUNA at Birmingham Southern College each year. Sponsor, Jim McGuire

Scholars Bowl
Participates in competitions – won 7 matches in 2003. Sponsor, Jim McGuire

Builders Club
Participates in yearly food drive and reading to preschoolers. Sponsor, Shannon Fortenberry
