Nancy Stewart

Nancy Stewart (District 6) is a lifelong resident of Gadsden where she attended Walnut Park Elementary, General Forrest Junior High and Emma Sansom High School. She was a majorette for 3 years in the award-winning Rebel Band. She has lived in District 6 her entire life and plans on doing all she can to make Gadsden City Schools the best they can be. She is a member of East Walnut Baptist Church and is an avid supporter of Gadsden City High School and especially enjoys watching the Titan Band perform. Mrs. Stewart’s family is made up of many educators, including her husband Steve, son Beau and daughter-in-law Lee Ann. She has worked as a Dental Hygienist for 25 years and serves on the Etowah County Democratic Executive Committee. She is also a member of the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation where she serves on America’s Tooth Fairy Committee. Mrs. Stewart enjoys all sports especially Gadsden City basketball and Alabama football.
