4-H Grows Wild Project – Cool Season Food Plot. Any youth 9-18 years old can participate. A minimum of 1/2 acre is needed and the youth will receive four types of seed (Austrian winter peas, chicory, Durana clover, oats) as well as supplies for an exclusion cage. The broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower vegetable plants (or other comparable plants) can be grown in 5 gallon buckets (Tier 1) or in a raised bed/garden spot (Tier 2).
