4-H Grows Wild Project – Cool Season Food Plot. Any youth 9-18 years old can participate. A minimum of 1/2 acre is needed and the youth will receive four types of seed (Austrian winter peas, chicory, Durana clover, oats) as well as supplies for an exclusion cage. 4-H Grows – Fall Gardening Project. Any youth 5-18 years old can participate. The broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower vegetable plants (or other comparable plants) can be grown in 5 gallon buckets (Tier 1) or in a raised bed/garden spot (Tier 2).
