There are various federal and state funded programs available to Gadsden City Schools students. The purpose of this funding is to ensure that all students have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. See below for specific program descriptions and budget information.

The mission of the Gadsden City School System is to prepare and inspire all students to become college and career ready through learning, serving, and excelling. Funding received through the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) legislation supplements our efforts to provide additional teachers and aides to work with struggling learners. ESSA funding allows schools to furnish supplemental materials for students who need a variety of strategies to acquire the knowledge and skills contained in the state content and performance standards developed for all students and to promote effective parent involvement.
