Congratulations to Maria Diego on her achievements.  Maria is a third year student of the GCHS Marketing program.  During this time she has been an active member who regularly participated in community service, fundraising, leadership activities, and competitions.  For the 2020-21 school year, Maria has served as DECA President and placed 2nd at the State Career Development Conference and Competition.  Most recently, Maria Diego won a $1,000 scholarship through DECA. The scholarship will be awarded under the National Society of High School Scholars.  We are very proud of Maria and look forward to seeing what the future holds for her.  After graduation, she is planning to attend Gadsden State Community College where she will major in Marketing Management.
