What to Expect

What to Expect

Everybody dreams, but at Gadsden City Schools – we dream bigger. From a blue-ribbon elementary school to a long history of national merit scholar finalists, we reach higher in academics.

Parents,

This spring students in the second grade will be revving up their learning. Students will be continuously focused on the mathmatic skills of: Measurement, Geometry, Data, and Fractions. In reading students will continue to make the push for accuracy and understanding of the main skills, such as: Main Idea and Detail, Plot and Theme, Fact or Opinion, etc. Your students will also be learning and exploring wonderful new things in Science and Social Studies. This year has seemed to have flown by and I look forward to working with you and your child for the remainder of the year.
