Janie Browning, Kindergarten teacher at Striplin Elementary was inducted as President-Elect (vice president) of the Alabama Community Education Association (ACEA). ACEA is an organization of education professionals who work in afterschool and summer programs across the state of Alabama.
Schools will dismiss at 11:30 for the Homecoming parade on Broad Street at 1:00 PM.
