Tony Reddick is a 30 year veteran educator in the Gadsden City School System. He attended Boston Public Schools prior to earning a scholarship to attend the prestigious St. Sebastian’s School, a Catholic, independent school for boys. While there, he was exposed to very rigorous academics, including the study of Latin and religion. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Talladega College with a minor in foreign language. He began his career in Gadsden City Schools as an elementary art teacher and high school math and French teacher He later earned a Master of Arts degree in mathematics education and certification in Education Administration at Jacksonville State University, and he is three classes shy of earning his Educational Specialist degree. He is a former French and Latin teacher, assistant and head basketball coach, and assistant principal at the former Gadsden High School. He has served as principal at Litchfield High School and J.K. Weaver Technical Center and supervised the Secondary Alternative School. Just prior to his role as the Director of Student Services, he supervised the Parent Teacher Resource Center and directed the Gadsden City Schools’ Mentoring, and English Language Learners programs.
