Good afternoon Titans. This is an update on our mask requirement. First of all, I appreciate your support and your patience, and I understand your indifference.  Prior to January 18th, when you were expecting a change in the mask requirement, there were still 133 cases active out of 298 reported for the second semester. Remember, we only had 298 cases reported for the entire first semester. While there have been 609 cases reported this semester, there are only 10 active cases. For that reason we will recommend masks be worn but make them optional starting Monday, February 14th.  While the infection number has reached 609 cases, due to your adherence to the masking requirement, today there are only 10 active cases systemwide, resulting in a .196 rate of infection.
