On Monday, October 29, 2018, sixty-seven Career Technical students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Mrs. Charlotte Worthy serves as advisor and Mr. Ron Engle, Mrs. Terri Jenkins and Ms. Betrina Thomas serve as co-advisors.

As a member of the National Technical Honor Society, students are honored in achievement and leadership in career and technical education; encouraged to pursue academic excellence; and, exposed to the opportunity for scholarships and enhanced career opportunities.

Thanks to the leadership of Mr. Tony Reddick, Superintendent; Dr. David Asbury, Career Technical Director; Mr. Kevin Young, Principal; and, Mr. Brent Morgan, Career Technical Administrator, the Career Technical Department is expanding its efforts in ensuring students have a chance to be college and career ready.
