I am pleased to inform you that GCHS’s own Kristy Johnson has been chosen as Jacksonville State University’s Instructional Technology Student of the Year! This annual award is in alignment with the other graduate programs in the School of Education in which the faculty collaboratively select a student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in his/her major over the previous three semesters. Her name will be engraved on a plaque and hung in the Educational Resources wing of Ramona Wood  Hall. 

Ms. Johnson has consistently demonstrated high-quality classwork, collaborative relationships with her peers and professors, and a positive attitude and willingness to try new things. She has been a pleasure to have in classes, and is scheduled to graduate at the end of this summer with her Master of Science in Instructional Technology. We are very proud of her!

Kristy Johnson is a Marketing instructor at Gadsden City High School.  Congratulations Kristy.
