Mr. Blackwell graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science and a Master’s Degree in General Science. He also earned his Administrative Degree from the University of Alabama. Throughout his career with Gadsden City Schools, he has served as a science teacher and basketball coach at Gadsden High School, assistant principal at both Gadsden High School and Gadsden City High School, principal at Gadsden City High School, and Director of Operations/Transportation. He is now honored to serve as Superintendent of Gadsden City Schools.
